Halloween Experience 2004   The Halloween Experience 2004 was the first
display. It was created following a
successful test event the previous year, and
became an instant hit with visitors, with around
70 people coming to see it during the evening.

The experience featured a small number of
lighting and sound effects, including a large sign
with UV lighting, flame and smoke effects in the
porch, and mood music in the garden.

I remember the first one fondly because we had the whole family down to see it and work on it. It was incredibly good fun to see how visitors would react to all our tricks and I remember laughing my head off for most of it! It's also very interesting to look back now and see how advanced things have become over the years, from this very simple beginning.
